A school/college/university or any other educational institution provides learning space and educational environment for students under the guidance of well-educated teachers. Students learn new ideas, including science and language, and have the opportunity to learn more about world cultures, geography, personal history, political systems, and economies. We all know the importance of education and educational institution so all the educational institutions like school/college/university should be according to the principle of Vaastu. If we build schools according to Vaastu principles then the success rate of students will be higher than others. So that I am providing some Vastu tips for school/college and university which are as follows.
Main plot type
First of all it should be seen what type of plot the school is going to be constructed on. According to Vastu Shastra, the plot should be big. The best shape of the plot is considered rectangular or square. Direction of the main gate of the school/college: While constructing the school, special attention should be paid to the main gate. East, North, West and South directions are considered best for the path in school or college or university respectively. But this is wrong, it does not matter in which direction the road is, but at which place the gate should be placed and how the construction is done is important. Just as the sun rises in the east and destroys the spiritual darkness of spiritual ignorance with its divine light, similarly the school imparts education to the students and teaches them how to live life.
Students who study facing east or north are more capable and intelligent than others. The educational level of students of such schools is better than schools of other directions and their examination results are commendable.
The main door should always be kept clean. The height of the main entrance should be twice the width. There should not be any kind of obstacle like electric pole, any big tree etc. in front of the main gate.
In which direction should the school be built
The main building of the school should be towards the south-west corner or the south-west corner of the school land. The south-west building should be higher than the north-east. The height of the school wall should be greater in the south-west direction than in the north-east direction.
Which color is auspicious for school/college?
The most suitable direction for school is North-East. The best colors for study room are white, light yellow, light green and cream because yellow is Jupiter (meaning brain) and green is Mercury (which symbolizes learning and writing). The exterior color of the main building should be maroon, light yellow, light green and cream.
Slope of land for school/college
The slope of the ground and roof of the entire school should be towards east or north. In such a situation, there will be no unnecessary problems in the school/college and there will be all-round development of the students and teachers of the school.
Water system in school/college
Water fountains, swimming pools, underground tanks etc. should be arranged in the north, east or north-northeast direction. Arrangements for drinking water for students can be made on the east or north side of the main building. The overhead water tank should be in the south-west direction of the building.
School/college electrical system
All electrical systems like generator, electric meter, main switch, fuse etc. should be towards south-east. Proper arrangement of fire fighting equipment should also be in the south-east.
Toilet
The school toilet should be in the south, west or north-west direction of the school plot. Proper ventilation of the toilet room should be necessary. While using the toilet, the student should face south, west or north.
Reception counter
The reception room should be built towards the north, east or north-northeast of the main building. The design of the entrance of the reception room should be such that the visitor’s entry should be from the east or north direction. While communicating with the visitor in the reception room, the receptionist should face east or north.
Principal room
The headmaster’s room should be towards the south-west direction of the main building so that he can have control over all the work and employees. The Principal should sit in his office in such a way that his face is towards east, north or north-east. Awards, titles etc. of the chair of the head of the institution should be kept in the south direction of the headmaster’s office.
Study room
The study room should be in the east, west and north direction. The seating arrangement of students in the classroom should be such that their faces are towards east or north. The blackboard should be placed on the east or north wall. There should be proper ventilation in the classroom. There should be two gates in the classroom. Some educational quotes and images of an ideal person, a ruler or a religious guru should be pasted in the classroom.
Staff room
The staff or teacher room should be towards the north-west direction of the main building. The staff room should be well air-conditioned so that they remain awake and can teach with full energy.
Library room
The library room should be in the north direction of the main building of the school. The seating arrangement in the library should be such that the student faces east or north while studying. Collection of books on the west and south walls
